Notes:

Exposures: 240 min of Ha (20 minute subs), 40 min each of RGB (10 minute subs) for a total of 6 hours.

Commonly designated Sharpless 2-199, LBN 667 or the Soul Nebula, this emission nebula is of more often referred to as IC 1848, the designation for the open cluster seen in the upper rt quadrant. The nebula is rich in ionized hydrogen and dark nebula.
